We enjoyed using our new maths game "Tens Towers" this week. Students had to build towers but they could only put a level down when it added to ten. It was a great way to practise our combinations to ten. Thank you to Mrs Cameron for organising this resource for our school.
1J have been constructing shelters out of boxes and other recycled materials as part of our HSIE Unit: The Need For Shelter. Students worked together to design their shelter and include some special features. The shelters were made for our teddies. Photos of our finished products will be on the blog soon.
As part of our new English Unit on Fractured Fairytales (traditional fairytales that are changed), students acted out different versions of The Three Little Pigs. It was a lot of fun!
Well done to all students in 1J for presenting the whole school assembly on Thursday and performing a fantastic song and dance, Everything is Awesome! Thank you to the parents who came to watch and visited our room afterwards. We had a lot of fun baking for you.
